Nadia was grateful that she had Griffon and Conner to help her explain. SHe was having a hard time communicating to the girl that was wrapped around her imprint. Once the boys finished speaking Nadia turned to Griffon. Everyone knew he had imprinted on Odette and he was tortured internally by it. She smiled at him knowing it was easier said than done. "You should tell her."

Odette listened intently and frowned. Would she ever know that type of love? SHe remembered the day she knew she didn't feel the same way about Conner as she had when they started . Looking at Conner, Tears came to her eyes and she shook her head. "I don't know when or how but I have had this feeling every time we are to gether that we weren't supposed to be together." She sniffed and wiped her tears away. "Maybe it was when you found out she was alive. Yes I remember helping make dinner. Nadia showed up...." She watched Griffon and her chest hurt. He imprinted on someone. Who could he have imprinted on? Odette felt very alone now and stood up slowly. "Thank you for everything but I think I really should go now. You two need to be together."

Seeing Odette get so upset when she realized her and Conner didn’t belong together was almost too much for him to handle. Griffon knew that Nadia was right about telling Odette the truth. Even if he was still afraid of how she was going to react. When she stood up to leave the table he panicked. Thinking she would leave and be too upset to want to see him again. He quickly stood and grabbed her hand. “Odette wait...There is something I need to say to you.”

He couldn’t handle seeing her tears and would do anything to make them stop. But right now he needed to try and choose his words carefully. He was so scared of messing this up. “That girl I was talking about before. The one that I imprinted on...is you.” He took a deep breath to calm himself before he continued. “From the moment I first saw you I knew that you were the one I was meant to be with...I wanted to tell you as soon as it happened but you seemed so happy with Conner. I didn’t want to ruin that for you. The thought of me being the cause of taking any kind of happiness from you was too much for me...and I was terrified that you would think I was crazy.” It was a little embarrassing saying all of this in front of Conner and Nadia. “I know that you might need some time after this situation with Conner and Nadia but...If you give me a chance, I promise you that no one will ever love you more than I do right now.”

Conner felt a little awkward sitting there listening to Griffon explain things to Odette. But he was really happy that Griffon wasn’t keeping quiet about it. He really should have said something sooner. The wolf had better realize how lucky he was, because if Conner found out that anything happened to Odette or that she wasn’t happy. Then the two of them were going to have a problem. Since they were imprints Conner knew he didn’t have to worry, but he would always feel a little protective over the girl that helped him come back from the dead.

Feeling that the two needed a little space, He stood up from his seat and held his hand out to Nadia. “Come on, Let give these two a little bit of privacy. I don’t know about you but I am starting to feel a little awkward...We have our own things that we need to discuss right now.”

Odette's tears were getting unruly. She wasn't upset about Conner. She was Upset about Griffon imprinting on someone. She had fallen for him the day they met but she felt like if she left Conner he would become what he used to be. She wouldn't have been able to forgive herself. She had gotten so close to him, he was like her best friend and she was more protecting him than she was in a relationship with him. Her heart wrenched when Griffon took hold of her hand. She looked up at him tears in her eyes, and heart breaking more with every second. Then it stopped. Griifon said he had imprinted on her. She hugged herself into his chest. "That explains everything," She whispered. "I didn't know about imprinting. Conner nor you ever said anything and I thought I was just a bad girlfriend falling for someone else... Then Nadia shows back up and I was afraid for Conner, again not knowing about imprinting and I was worried about Conner getting hurt, He's like my best friend so Iwas protective."

Nadia giggled a little at Odette's reaction and smiled at Conner. "See what a little explaining will do." She took Conner's Hand and Looked back at Odette. "Once you two talk about things I have something I would like to share with you, and griffon of course. Just another explanation. She kissed them Both on the Cheek and Joined Conner. "You think we could go dance? I am sure it will please mom and it will be a nice place to talk with out being disturbed.

Griffon smiled and wrapped his arms around Odette. He was happy that everything was turning out the way he had hoped. Having her in his arms felt better then he imagined. He laughed quietly as he wiped away her tears. “Well I am happy to know that you felt that way. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do if you wanted him more than me.” He smiled at Nadia, “Go fix things with your imprint before you both explode or something, you know where to find us when you want to talk again.” He wasn’t going anywhere unless Odette wanted to. He just wanted to stand there and hold her forever.

”Well now you have someone else that you need to protect Odette. And that is a pretty tough job. He and his brother are both trouble makers.” Conner laughed a bit when Nadia asked if they could dance. Dancing wasn’t really something he liked to do anymore, but for her he would do anything. “It would make mom happy, she hasn’t had a lot to be happy about lately. So it would be good to help give her something to smile about.” He was pretty sure everyone was going to happy about it. They were probably tired of his moping by now

“I haven’t really been much of a dancer for a long time. So I may be a little bit rusty.” He said as he led her over to where others were dancing. It felt weird to be this close to her now that her memories were back. He didn’t know how he should act or what he should say to her. Even though he was confused it still felt right, like a small part of the old Conner was returning. Though he knew he would never be that man again.

“If your memory has returned, then you know that the last time we danced...that night ended up being the worst night of my life...I was so angry at myself for not being able to protect you.” He shook his head at himself. Right now wasn’t the time for him to think about the past. It was time for them to figure out their future. He was going to make sure that he would never going to lose her again. “I had so much that I wanted to say to you when you finally got you memories back. But now that I’m standing here with you...I can’t find the right words.”

Nadia Placed a one hand on Conner's shoulder and the other in his hand. She let him lead her around the dance floor and her heart hurt for him when she thought of what he must have went though with her gone. She lifted her hand off his should and placed it on his cheek. "It must have been horrible Going through that. I can't imagine what it felt like." Nadia thought of her our memories and the journal she kept. "The first year I fought against Michael. I remembered you clearly, but their were spells and I think he was drugging me. He made my mind forget you all together. I am guessing he let me come back here to get Nathan, because he didn't think my imprinting on you would matter..." She smiled now having every memory back made this easier to figure out. "... but the moment I saw you it was like I imprinted all over again, but his spells drew me back to New York. But what he didn't understand is that hknow who you were then. I dreamed about hunting with you, and playing in the house togather, and just having family time with the twins and Destiny. When I was helped by you and Artemis when Nathan was born. I just didn't know they were memories. I didn't realize everything I was dreaming was about my life prior to Michael."

She let him continue to lead her around the dance floor. "Believe me, I know that you must have many questions and you have all the time in the world to ask me. I think it is best we start off small. We should probably spend more time with griffon and Odette, Have fun and be playful as they will be. Maybe do a restart? I love you Conner Demont and I will do anything to make this right."

Conner had a horrible time when she was taken. That much was true. But he knew that he wasn’t the only one who had suffered. Everything she had gone through couldn’t have been easy. Thinking about it only wanted him to kill Michael more than he already had. The only thing that kept the thought from taking over his emotions right now was the fact that Nadia was in his arms again. He wasn’t going to let Michael ruin that for him. “I know that it wasn’t easy for you either. Having Michael using those spells to make you forget. Losing your memories had to be terrifying and confusing. I am sorry that you had to go through all that.”

He knew they had plenty of time to talk. “Your right, I do have many questions. Some of them I am afraid to hear the answers. But you are right, they can wait for now. Right now I am just happy that you are back where you belong.” Most of his questions revolved around Michael and what they were going to do about him. The idiot had gone to a lot of trouble to take Nadia away. That meant he probably wasn’t going to give her up without a fight, even if fighting it was useless. The situation had made Conner more alert, and now that she was back he was going to be even more protective then before. He would probably get on her nerves a bit because of it but he hoped Nadia would understand. “I hope you realize that I am never going to let you out of my sight again.”

Spending time with Griffon and Odette seemed like a good idea. Though he could imagine that a lot of people were going to be really annoyed at the two imprinted couples and the playful love. He could just imagine the eyes rolling. He wasn’t going to let that bother him though. He deserved a little happiness every now and then, they all did. “Fun and playful you say? I think I can handle that, but it might take some work. Zane has been trying to make me a fun person for months now and has failed miserably. You are more than welcome to give it a try.” He grinned and pulled her closer to him, “You have nothing to make up for Nadia. You were more of a victim then any of us. The only thing I want from you is for you to be happy.” He stopped their dance and kissed her gently, “I love you Nadia.”

Nadia grimaced thinking about all the questions he may have. He she knew he wasn't going to be happy with yes or no answers either. she would have to explain everything aand when he heard some of the answers he was going to hurt. "How about we do a questions and answers Game another time?" She knew she would be able to avoid it for long but he could give her today. It was her birthday and she was with her imprint dancing and laughing. She felt amazingly happy. Something she hadn't trully felt for a long time. "Do you think You will ever leave my sight again?" she laughed and turned her head to look at Zane from across dance floor. "Well I have something zane doesn't have and he could never get you to smile and have fun the way I do." Nadia spun away in a few pirouettes. "I know my father made you the leader. He told me a few weeks ago. He told me tha He had hope that you and I would make a strong team that he and Artemis had, but for now I think we can let our guard down to spend some quailty time. Zane and the twins will keep guard and will report to you when needed." She wasn't telling him how to run the coven. she would never do that. She could remember that Artemis was the one who made the Coven a family. Artemis was basically the first lady when the coven was in her father's Leadership. Nadia wanted to be more like her. Tto be loving and have the strength and poise Artemis Had. To be the Lady of this coven. But that wouldn't be until she and Conner were back where they had left. Once she and Conner were a team, The coven would be a family again.

Conner had wondered how Nadia would react to him being the new leader. She had always been more of a leader then he was. “I’m starting to think that everyone thinks I am too stressed out. That is the second time someone has told me to let Zane and the twins keep an eye on things...I trust them to watch over everyone, but I don’t want them to work too hard. Its Zane’s birthday and I feel like the twins never take a break. Zach really should be focusing on his family. They all work so hard for me that they deserve a bit of a break, even if it is just for a day.” He felt like they were always doing the guarding and he was just a figure head that made the big choices. Being the leader was still hard for him but he was getting used to it. Now that Nadia was back it would get easier for him. At least that was his hope.

“Plus my mother warned me that if I didn’t force everyone to forget about coven business and have that she would get violent...that isn’t something I really want to see, do you?” He laughed to himself a bit and shook his head. Artemis was never violent but he wasn’t sure if he could risk that. “I am starting to understand why Viktor wanted to step down in the first place.” Conner still wondered if he had been the right person for the job. “There I go again, discussing things that are better left for another day. Come on, let’s go join the others before something happens and I end up getting all serious again.”

Nadia shook her head hearing his thoughts. "Conner Demont don't you dare think that! You are just as good for a leader as I am. Just because father had planned on handed it to me, means nothing. You and I are together. I will help you." As her imprint she would do anything to help him. "And you misunderstood me, my love." She said taking hold of his hand and lacing his fingers in his. "When I say guard I mean just stay alert. keep a nose to the wind, so to speak. We have members of the family everywhere. They just tell us if they are concerned about something and then we will do something about it. There will be no guard shifts. Everyone gets to just live for now." Nadia walked with Conner over to her Brothers to help him explain the new change in orders.

Meanwhile

Jimmy didn't like where this Conversation was going. His brother was out of line in his attitude "Is that why you blinked here? because you knew Gwen would Be here?" She stared at Landon. "Answer me!"

Blake snickered as his oldest brothers fought and Damon elbowed him. "It's not really like that--"

"Of course it is!"Landon snapped, cutting Damon off. I have no control of it any more than She does. It was her mother and my Father that made that Bargain. we are both drawn to each other and you know it. this conversation is the only thing stopping me from walking into that house and blinking away with her now."

Mack wondered if Gwen really drawn to Landon like he said. She was hoping it was just some crazy lie but with the way Gwen had felt earlier it was more than likely the truth. “She is with my brother and she is happy. You can’t ruin that for her, and my brother would kill you for trying to take her away.” Hopefully Gwen cared enough about Malcolm that she could fight whatever this bond thing was and tell Landon to beat it. That way Mack would not have to worry about her brother going dark, and she wouldn’t have to consider trying to kill him. It all depended on what Malcolm would think when he heard about the bond.

This situation was so screwed up and it made her so angry she wanted to hurt the stupid demons in front her. “I don’t care about your stupid bond or the fact that you’re drawn together, you need to take your brothers and get out of here before-” Before she could finish someone appeared in front of her and grabbed her shoulders.

Gwen had been trying to relax with Malcolm and figure out her next move when she started to feel that something was wrong. Once she had gotten out of the bed and looked out the window it didn’t take long for her to realize what was going on. “Malcolm you didn’t ask her to speak with them did you? You didn’t need to do that. Demons can be dangerous and Mack is too good to understand that kind of thing.” She quickly blinked to Mack and stopped her from trying to pick a fight.

“Mackenzie are you crazy! What do you think is going to happen if you try picking a fight with a full-fledged demon? The last thing I need is for you to get involved...I can’t have you doing stupid things because of me, Malcolm should have never asked you to speak with them...and the three of them should have never came here in the first place.” Even though Mack and Malcolm were not very close lately she knew it would hurt Malcolm if something happened to his sister. So she had acted before she had time to think the situation through.

Now she had her back towards Landon and she could feel his eyes on her. All she wanted was to return to Malcolm but her body wouldn’t move. She didn’t dare turn and look at him because she was afraid of what she would do. “Landon, please...just leave. I am happy where I am, I met someone and I care about him. I know you hate this bond as much as I do. Just fight it and leave...we don’t have to do this.” It was so hard to talk to him like this with other people watching.

"Mack may be good but she is stronger than you give her credit for." Malcolm said but Gwen was gone before she could hear hime. He looked our the window and found her outside shaking his sister. Why does everyone tend to think that just because she is Good that she is weak? Malcolm flowed her outside and was there before she stopped speaking.

"Gwendolyn, My Love, What do you think woould have happened? I mean really? The are coven property..."Malcolm shook his head. "They would be fools to do anything with Harmony and Grandmother Artemis around anyway."He didn't understand why she was so upset.

Landon ignored Malcolm calling Gwen My Love That was untilShe stared to plead with him to leave. "Now Dear Gwen, You and I both know that I can't do that. The Bargain clearly states that you and I sworned to be together." He walked around so he was next to Mackenzie the opposite side of Malcolm and caught Gwen's eye. "You and I know that we are fated to be together." He moved closer to her and wrapped an arm around her waist pulling her tightly against him. "And there is nothing we can do about it."

“I don’t care what the bargain says, my mother had no right to use me like that. She should have had no say over my soul.” Lust never saw Gwen as a daughter anyone. Lust was a selfish demon who only cared about power. In fact Gwen hadn’t heard from her mother since the bargain. That proved her mother didn’t care.

Once their eyes met she knew she was stuck. “Fate? Fate has nothing to do with it. Fate would mean falling in love...You don’t care about me, I am just property to you. A gift from your father...Don’t you ever tell me that it is fate.” It was more like a curse. One that she was desperate to break but she didn’t know how. She didn’t even try to stop him when he wrapped his arm around her. How could something feel so right and make her skin crawl at the same time.

Now she was afraid he would take her and make sure she would never get away again. It took forever for her to get away last time and he was probably getting tired of chasing her. “There are no words for how much I hate you for this Landon.” Gwen felt sick when she thought of what Malcolm was going to think of her now. Landon was only saying these things and acting like this because Malcolm was standing there. “Let me go, you have made your point. You announced your claim on me and he heard you...so let go and knock it off.” She tried pushing away from him but his grip on her was strong and the bond was making it hard to move away.

She didn’t want to explain this to Malcolm while Landon had his hands on her but it looked like she didn’t have much of a choice. “Malcolm...please, don’t listen to him. I know how this looks and He is making it sound like something it’s not...This is just some twisted arranged marriage that my mother forced on me. She wanted more power so she promised to give me to Landon’s father. They bound me to him. They didn’t even ask me or care what I thought...I don’t love him I don’t want to be with him. I have spent most of my life trying to get away from him.”

She was terrified that Malcolm wasn’t going to understand. It would kill her if he hated her for keeping this from him. “I didn’t want you to find out like this. I was going to tell you...but I didn’t know how. I was hoping I could figure out how to get rid of the bond so I would never have to...I don’t want to be with him I want to be with you, you have to believe me.”

Mack knew people saw her as weak. She had never given them a reason to think otherwise and hopefully she never would. Having power wasn’t something she liked. Right now power was the last thing on her mind, Malcolm was going to find out about the secret Gwen had been keeping and realize why Gwen had been so upset about Mack talking to them. Even though Gwen wasn’t putting up a lot of a fight Mack could see how terrified and upset she was. It was obvious that Gwen couldn’t had no control over it. But would her brother see it that way? Mack worried that Malcolm’s feelings would cloud his judgement. “Malcolm...”

Landon knew gwen wouldn't resist him long. It was part of the Bargain. She would Just have to be around him for a small time and she would stop resisting him. She was promised to him and he wasn't going to give up his bride just because She though that she had found love. "You may love him, But that passion we have shared is more than you have shared with him. You can't deny it and if you did you would be lying." Landon chuckled at her words. "Everything you say is to make him feel better? That is sweet. But my dear, Actions speak louder that words and the fact that you are not fight against me shows that you are bond to me and can never truly belong to anyone else."

Landon glanced at Malcolm and could see the rage Building inside of him, but his attention was turned back to Gwen when she had said to let her go. "Oh no my dear one. I will not be letting you go. Your hand will be staying in mine. You will not blink away from me again." Before he relased her waist and took hold of her hand Landon pulled gwen in and firmly kissed her lips.

Malcolm stared at the two infront of him. His thoughts jumbled, he watched Landon wrapping his arms around Gwen. Landon's Gwen. No! She's Mine! A low growl came from Malcolm's throat. Malcolm heard his sister next to him and new she would back him if he really needed it but he didn't want to get hurt. {i]It's Okay sis. I can handle it[/i]

Flames danced in Malcolm's eyes as he summoned up his power. flames started to float in and around his hands, licking his fingers. "If you think for One second that I am going to let you leave with her You are a lot dumber than you look." He raised a hand and hurled a ball of flames at Landon. Hitting him squarely in the Chest and Pulled Gwen to him when he had the chance. "She is MINE!"

The three Faust all stood Shoulder to Shoulder now. Landon laughed and put the flames on his shirt out. "This one has a temper don't he dear. Youu mind telling him about the last one that tried to keep you from me? How he met a horrid death..." Landon turned his head to look at each of his brothers. "Well maybe with a bargain he can have her."

This kiss had caught her off guard she hadn’t thought that he would pull something like that just to prove a point. In that moment all of her feelings of hate had vanished and she would have left with him without a fight. She hated it when he was right.

Then she saw flames and felt herself being pulled away. Once she was away her head started to clear but the kiss had left her unable to speak. Mostly because she was afraid of what she would say or do. Malcolm had saved her from herself so she stayed close to him.

Gwen thought of the horrible things Landon had done to keep her with him. The last person who had tried to help her suffered so badly and Gwen hadn’t even really cared about him. If the same thing happened to Malcolm...the thought was terrifying. The coven was going to notice this fight and that would cause even more trouble. Then Landon started bring up more bargains and she knew she couldn’t allow that either. She would rather Malcolm hate her then for him to get hurt or lose his soul. So she knew that she was going to have to let him go.

She took a deep breath, put on her best grin and moved herself away from Malcolm “Enough of this drama. It’s terribly boring...I’m sorry for being so foolish Landon. I hope you can forgive me...It’s just not in my nature to behave the way a bride should, you should know that by now. But this game of mine has gone on for long enough.” She didn’t even look Malcolm’s way as she walked back over to Landon. This was how it needed to be, she should have realized that a long time ago. “You always have to ruin all of my fun. Every time I find someone new to play with you have to get so territorial. It would almost be annoying if I didn’t love making you jealous.”

This was easier for her then it should have been for her. Maybe it was the bond helping her act so cold. Then again acting like this was normal for her before she had met Malcolm. She wrapped her arm around Landon’s and laid her head on his shoulder. “Don’t offer any bargains to anyone here. These Crowes are so temperamental, it really isn’t worth the time. Take one soul and you will have the whole flock breathing down your neck trying to get it back. They are especially protective over this boy and his sister. It’s not worth the trouble. Let’s just go home...I would promise to behave better, but I really can’t lie to you.”

Viktor Stood and paced through the tables. He knew Artemis wasn't going to forgive him easily but he still needed her help. Before he left he found out that he had one remaining child to find but he was a lot harder to find that Jimmy had been. He knew receiving her forgiveness would not be easy.

This Had been quite the party. Nadia had received her Memories back. Odette lost her boyfriend, but found her soul mate. Malcolm lost his girl to a Faust bargain. Viktor looked at his wife across the party and watched he smile a laugh with a few women from the town. She looked like an angel in her white gown. Her blonde hair tumbling down her back in long waves.

The Party was starting to slow down. Nearly all of the humans were gone except one. Odette was still in a corner with Griffon. Malcolm had just started a fight, when the security alarms Started going off. Viktor whirled and looked around at his Family. Viktor thought hard screaming to Zane in his head tell all family members you see to Go to the basement.

Zane looked at his father and nodded. He took a deep breathe and projected his thoughts to his family and the wolf pack. He had never tried to do it wwith so many people before. Everyone go to the Basement. It is not safe out here. Move fast and move now! but no one moved. the only one that heard was Nadia. She looked at Zane with a panicked expression on her face and then to her imprint. "Conner... We need to get everyone in the house, all the family members go I will meet you at the door.

Nadia took hold of Nathan and said "Move fast! Conner and I will be right behind you!" SHe found her brothers running behind Nathan. She saw two figures in a dark corner. "Griffon! Get in the house! It's not safe out here! Go!" Nadia grabbed Gwen's Hand and pulled her away from some guy. Obviously not know about what happened the night before, "I need you to blink the twins to the Basement. Please! They are the most important duo to the coven!" After she watched her best friend disappeared with Malcolm and Mackenzie, She scanned the estate grounds and saw no one else in the family but Conner.

Jason took his team through the forest and once he had a visual the all started running. "We must have tripped an Alarm. Shoot your tranquilizers now! Jason shot for the man running with Odette but missed and hit a man on the Stairs. He ran out of the COver and Shot a Girl in the Back and Another Man the neck twice for good Measure.

Nadia ran to him and took his hand. She tripped up the stairs but that was because she saw Michael Laying on them. She pushed Conner to keep going and followed him down to the basement where once inside Viktor Slid the door shut.

Jasonn Saw only six bodies laying around the party and looked around at his team. "Good job team but we aren't done yet.We have to get this lot moving!"
