Luna had parked her 2016 blue Nissan Sentra in a parking spot by the park and she got out of her car. She locked the doors and she shoulders her purse. She puts her keys in the purse and she pockets her Samsung Galaxy S7. She was wearing blue skinny jeans, purple converse and a cute purple top. Her long silver hair was in a french braid and it was tied back with a purple ribbon. She made sure she had her book with her to read once she found a place for her to sit. She looked around the park with her golden eyes and she starts to walk around.
She made sure her car doors were locked and she heads into the park holding her reading book to her side. She started to look around her as she waked and she watched people walk by her. She also saw people in front of her walking or jogging. She saw people in the grass areas either relaxing on blankets with picnic baskets in front of them and other people playing with their dogs. She smiles and she kept walking trying to find a perfect place for her to sit down so she could read her book and enjoy the nice weather outside.
She looks around her with her golden eyes and she was glad that she had finished her homework the day before so she could relax today. She was happy that today was a Saturday and she kept walking around.

Serena walked at a relaxed pace, her eyes floating about the park. Not owning a car meant she was forced to walk everywhere unless her Aunt let her borrow the rust bucket she called a truck. Her hands were shoved in the pockets of her black and grey joggers, matched with a loose, black crop top. Like a water fall, her long hair cascaded around her shoulders and accented her stunning, green eyes. Luckily, Forks was a smaller town which meant that everything was in close proximity to each other. That proved for easier walking. Humming softly, the tune of her recent piece, she came to the poorly kept side walk that surrounded what the town of Forks considered a park. After moving to Forks she was forced to drive to Seattle to further he piano lessons and prepare for upcoming competitions, her Aunt also did not own a piano which sucked for practicing.
There were a few people milling about, but only one bench which was her current target. As of now only a girl holding a book occupied the space and she looked friendly enough. She had blonde hair, pulled back into a pony tail, and wore purple clothes that stood out brightly against the sheen of green. Everything in Forks was green. Green and wet, it was honestly rather depressing. She let out a breezy laugh. Her parents had sent her here to try and ease her depression. Walking over to the wooden seat, she lowered herself next to the other girl. "Hello." She said, her gaze scanning the pages of whatever she was reading.

Luna had been reading a book she had checked out from the Forks Public Library and she blinks her golden eyes. She glances next to her and she saw a girl she had never seen before. She smiles back and she pushed a loose strand of her silver hair from her face. She tucked the strand of hair behind her ear. "Hello. I have never seen your here before. Are you new?" she asked and she placed her bookmark into the book to save the place she was at and she closed the book. She kept her golden eyes focused on the new girl. She hopped this girl would be her friend and she hopped she had something in common with her.
She felt like she was being rude to the girl by not introducing herself to her and she smiles. "I'm sorry if I didn't introduce myself to you. My name is Luna Cullen. What is your name?" she asked the new girl. She kept her eyes on her and she made sure her book was rested in her lap. Her silver bangs framed her face and she kept her golden eyes on her. She rested her small hands on her book and she didn't move her golden eyes from the new girl as she waited for her response to the questions she had asked her. She had a feeling that she was going to be friends with her and she wanted to have friends to talk to and hang out with.

The girl put a well worn bookmark in the book, closing it and then focusing her attention on Serena. She smiled a bit and shifted so she was angled more towards Luna."Nice to meet you, Luna. My name is Serena, though most people just call me Rena. It's easier." She said, pushing loose strands of her red hair behind her ear. Since her few weeks here, Serena had not made many friends. She was hoping that maybe this girl would prove to be a friend of sorts. If nothing else, at least she could find a friendly fact in the crowd. Then, Serena felt her phone buzz and pulled out an iPhone, encased in red. A notification flashed on her screen, her Aunt was asking where she was. She let out an annoyed sigh and shoved it back in her pocket.
"I just moved here, a few weeks back. I moved in with my Aunt. Though she likes to keep awful tight tabs on me. What about you, have you always lived in Forks?" She said, and clasped her hands together. She hated that her Aunt need to always know where she was, hell she even had a curfew. Who had curfew anymore? And then there was the constant badgering and the urging to go to therapy. It was like she was in lock down, Ruby was more like a mother than her own mother. It was really quite ridiculous in her opinion. But there was little she could do about it.

Luna smiles as she looks at her and she kept her golden eyes on her. "Its very nice to meet you, Rena." she said smiling. She was happy that she finally knew her name and she blinks her golden eyes as she watched her pull her phone out. She had a feeling she had gotten a message from someone and she put her focus back onto Rena. She listened to her and she heard her question. "I have lived in Forks for a while now with my adoptive family and its a nice town once you get used to it. There are interesting places here" she said and she looks at her with her golden eyes.
She smiles and she kept her eyes on her. "So, how are you liking the weather down here in Forks?" she asked. She was used to the weather here in Forks and she didn't mind the weather as long as it didn't rain. She wasn't a big fan of the ran but she didn't mind watching the rain from inside her room. She was the only one who had a bed in her room since she was the only one of her adoptive family who needed to sleep. She was also the only one who needed to eat human food. She knew she couldn't tell anyone about what her adoptive family were since it was a secret unless they were either a shifter or a vampire, who knew her family well and she had a feeling her new friend was a human.

This girl seemed really keen on socializing, which was not always a bad thing. Serena was taking quite a liking to her. At the comment about the weather she could not help the laugh that floated from her lips. It was not raining today, but Forks seemed to be destined for more rain than any other place on the planet. Even when it was not raining there was a constant cover of clouds, for Serena there had not been a single day when the sun was out for more than a few seconds. Serena did not mind the rain, other than the fact this town was rather all gloom and doom, Forks was decent. She liked rain, in fact, just not torrential down pours that left any person who happened to be outside looking like a half drown cat. "It's not the worse weather, I guess." She said with a smile. She then glanced around, her green eyes scanning the surrounding area. "I would not mind a few days in which the sun is actually visible, though."
Serena had to admit she was rather curious about this girls adoptive family. Since starting school she had not really paid attention to anyone, wanting to focus on school and such, but she could have sworn she saw this girl sitting with some rather odd people. They had all been strikingly gorgeous, with the same golden eyes, and pale skin. In all honestly, Serena was rather jealous of there beauty, and if her suspicious were correct of Luna for being a part of their family.

Luna smiles when she looks at her and she listened to her. "The weather is okay and on the days when its sunny as well as breezy is very nice." she said as she looks at her soon to be new friend. She kept her golden eyes on her and she had a feeling she had a question about why she had said adoptive family instead of just family. She kept knew she should eventually tell her about that. She fixed the book that was in her lap.
She looks at her and she smiles softly. "I have a feeling you want to ask me a question about why I said adoptive family instead of just family and I don't mind answering the question" she said. She really didn't mind answering the question at all and she also didn't mind explaining to her new friend about the reason why she was adopted and she kept her golden eyes on her. If you have any questions for me, I don't mind answering them at all." she said to let her know that she can ask her any question. She smiles at her new friend and she kept her eyes on her. She wanted to ask her something before she let her new friend start asking her questions. "I know we just met and all but do you want to be friends?" she asked. She hopped Serena would say yes to her question and she hopped that they will be friends.

Kaz Writes - Serena Thinks - Serena Speaks
Serena felt heat rise in her face, her cheeks flushing read. Am I really that easy to read? She looked away for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. It was not really that she was curious as of why she had an adoptive family, more like why she had the adoptive family she did have. They were odd but intriguing all at once and it did not seem like friendly, talkative Luna fit in with their anti-social charade. She frowned for a moment, and then she returned her focus to the blonde girl. "Ah, um... well you just have a rather interesting family is all. Not to mention some of your... brothers are rather attractive." She said with a small smile. She was certain that was what any girl would think upon seeing the Cullen family. "I guess I am curious as of why you have an adoptive family. I have my reasons for living with my Aunt but hopefully they are worse than yours." Serena admitted and picked at one of her finger nails. It was a nervous habit she did whenever she was bored or stressed.
Serena did want a friend, but had not really thought about it until now. Maybe new friends would also help her with this so called fresh start. "Sure, friends it is." She said, a grin stretching her features and revealing straight teeth. Luna seemed like she would be the type of person to be a good friend, so why not. At least it would give her someone to serve as a distraction, and maybe she could talk to her once they grew closer. Which would not be hard, as Serena was very trusting.

Luna smiles softly. "Its okay. I don't mind telling you. " she said. She closed her golden eyes and she takes a deep breath. She opens her golden eyes again and she looks at her new friend with them. "My parents had died in a car accident when I was only six years old and the Cullen family adopted me when I was the same age." she said. She kept her eyes on her. "My parents had been doctors and had worked with Carlisle Cullen. They had been driving to pick me up from a friend's house, when a drunk driver, driving a truck hit them dead on and my parents had died on impact. " she said.
She takes a deep breath and she smiles at her new friend sadly. "I had been devastated the day they died and it was hard for me. My adoptive family and friends were there for me. My parents had apparently wanted me to live with the Cullen family since my parents had trusted them to take care of me. So, they adopted me two months later and I became a Cullen" she said.
She looks at her new friend and she waited for her reaction to what she just told her. "I plan on following in my parents and in my adoptive dad's footsteps and become a doctor" she said. She smiles at her and she takes her silver hair out of its ponytail and her hair cascade down her back

Kaz Writes - Serena Thinks - Serena Speaks
Serena listened to the story in silence. She felt a twinge of sorrow and pity for her new found friend. Serena had never lost a parent, even her grand parents were still alive, so she could only imagine the feeling. And to loose both parents at once must have been awful. She didn't say so, not want to keep on the topic any longer as necessary. It was nice that she had someone to take her in, and that she had known them somewhat before the accident. "I'm sorry that happened to you." She said. "But it's nice that you knew your adoptive family prior to the accident." Then she was relieved when the conversation topic somewhat shifted.
"What type of doctor do you plan to be? I could never be a doctor, I am definitely not smart enough. And hospitals sort of freak me out. My dad is a cardia surgeon, however." She said, her face flushing at the last part. She honestly hated hospitals now. It had been a developing fear from her first few years of treatment. Now she tried to avoid them at all costs, but with anemia that was not always possible. Serena was more into music than science or math, and hoped to one day become a professional pianist. She also wanted to teach lessons eventually, but first she had to focus on her own education and development than that of others. Hopefully some day she would be able to purchase a piano of her own, for ease of practice. Her parents could certainly buy one, but she did not want to be that one rich girl who got everything she asked for.

Luna smiles as she listened to her and she looks at her new friend. "Its okay and I'm thankful to have my adoptive family in my life. " she said and she kept her golden eyes on her. She listened to her and she heard her question. She smiles. "I plan on being a general doctor like my adoptive father except he works at the hospital here in Forks. My birth mom was a general doctor as well and my birth dad was a neuro surgeon. He was the best in his field and my parents supported each other. I want to be a general practice doctor like my mom was. " she said and she kept her golden eyes on her new friend.
She smiles. "Its okay to do something that you want to do after high school and what college you want to do to. I already plan on applying to the best medical school in the state and two medical schools in different states." she said.
She tucks a loose strand of her silver hair behind her ear and she takes the hair tie out of her hair to let her long silver hair cascade down her back. She ran her fingers through her hair and she smiles at her new friend. "Do you have an idea on what field of studies you want to go in?" she asked her as she kept her golden eyes on her. She was happy to have made a new friend.

Kaz Writes - Serena Thinks - Serena Speaks
Serena listened as she spoke. Neurosurgery was definitely interesting, her father had confessed in interest several times. But in truth, he was a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon and had no reason to change field. Plus, she was almost certain you could not at this point. Your specialty defined you, changing it would only bring a mark on an individual's reputation. She was surprised that Luna just wanted to be a general doctor. Sure, that offered a lot of job opportunities, but if Serena had the brains she would definitely shoot for something more defining. She had always found psychiatry a subject of interest as well as cardiology, mostly due to her father. But, she had her heart set elsewhere.
"I am planning to come study general education as well as further my music career. I play the piano, so I probably will end up teaching lessons. I know it is not much of a career, but I love doing it so why not." She said, a smile spreading across her features. She loved playing the piano, ever since she was little she had loved it. It was an amazing talent, and one that did not require a ton of brain power or athleticism. It fit perfectly for her. Serena had debated on doing something more practical, but she was unable to decide on anything else. She thought that photography might be interesting, but the jobs were almost as limited as a music profession. Maybe she would end up teaching high school band or something.

welcome
Earth: Home to at least six billion people, who live seemingly normal lives--if you can really define normal. Day in and day out, people try to live their lives the way they want to, and every day, somebody dies. The thing is: Not everyone does.
There are various mythical creatures that humans believe only exist in books. And, for the most part, they are oblivious as to what really happens. There are vampires, shifters, werewolves, and other creatures who go 'bump' both day and night. Some were given the choice to enter such a life, and others most certainly were not.
Twilight Moments is based on the well-known Twilight Series, with many differences. What if Bella never loved Edward? What if Alice joined the Volturi? What if Carlisle fed on humans? So many possibilities...
And meanwhile, there is another family, the Crowe family. Their leader, Viktor, had hopes to start anew in Forks, Washington. But, from the moment they arrived, problems ensued. The resident shifters saw the appearance of the new family, and from the beginning, they were wary of having vampires around. In an effort to keep the peace, Viktor created a truce with them. As long as no family member tasted human blood, all would be quiet between them.
Join us at Twilight Moments, and find out how these lives will be played out. Canon characters and Original Characters will Be friends, enemies and lovers. It's up to you to decide how their stories will begin, progress, and end.
