Darcy had been holding back on turning into her fairy form one because her farther would know she had turned back and know her location and two there was no need to do it here. Though she was at a loss as she did not have a car here in this relm. One there was no need for one in her kingdom and two she could fly over there. So being in refuge some wear were she could try and figure herself out. Here was the place she was trying to do that. Darcy laid on her sofa in her one bedroom flat looking up at the ceiling. She would not experiences anything like this today. She groaned and pulled herself off the sofa and looked in the mirror. She tossed her red hair about pulled on a jackets and grabbed her bag. She would wondered. Looking up she walked down her steps, the air was cold and she could feel the wind. She took a big breath in as the cold air greeted her. Being able to control the wind was one thing but here she could feel everything the way it shifted in her figures along her skin. It made a shiver go up her spin as she let out a smile. Heading off in the direction of town.
It would soon be dark and Darcy knew that there was other worldly things here too luckily she had not meat any fairy's yet. She did not want to be escorted back to her relm to face a marriage she did not want. She could live amongst humans and the others. Darcy listened to her feet pattering on the floor as she walked the sun was low in the sky casting an orange glow on the clouds. This world was pretty still. Darcy got to the local hang out bars and cafe. She was not one to drink too much. the most she had drank was a bottle of wine and that ended badly for her. She had been recovering for the next day and half. She smiled at the memories so she headed for food instead. Walking inside the smell of grease filled her nostrils. It was not busy mostly filled with couples and a few teenagers trying to be cool. She walked to a table and sat down flipping open the menu. It was dull and nothing jumped out and grabbed her in the matter of speaking so she just ordered so fries to keep her ocupated.
So this was 'earth' She had liked it so far but she wanted to know more. She wanted to know if this could be her place of refuge for her eternity.

Min-Ji hadn't been in Forks terribly long, yet. She'd really only had time to check to make sure the house she was renting was okay. It was a tiny house, only four small rooms, but Min-Ji didn't need that much space. One bedroom, one kitchen, one bathroom, and one remaining room- yep. That's all that anyone really needed, and it wasn't like Min-Ji had much furniture or anything. Pfft. A vampire who carried furniture everywhere. That would be hilarious, really... Anyway! She'd checked on her tiny rented house, said hi the landlord, and put down the few bags she'd brought with her. Most of what was held in them was clothing, though she did have a teddy bear she'd picked up a few days ago in there, too. It was so soft and nice and fluffy! Stuffed animals were such a great human invention.
Once she'd put everything away, though, it was time to go into exploration mode. She'd need to make sure she wasn't encroaching on any particular territory, yeah, but she also wanted to just wander around Forks for a little bit. She could breathe in the damp air, smile at the quiet town, and just... enjoy the nighttime, really. She'd have to wait an hour or so if she wanted to see any particularly beautiful stars, as the sun had only just barely started to set, but she knew that the night sky here was going to look so much nicer than it had in Seattle. She sat on the steps of her house, looking up happily at the sunset. Yeah, there were definitely going to be some pretty stars here. She'd try to stick around a bit to see them all, if she could.
First, though... maybe she should try to find some town gossip? It wasn't the big city, so maybe the bar wouldn't be too overwhelming... There was a chance that the bar would just kind of be painful to her, though... Should she take that leap? Maybe she would. Bars were where people gathered, and she'd be able to hear some interesting stories there, so long as there weren't too many people. If there were, she could probably bail out, and no one would really mind. Yeah. This could work out, really. She picked up her phone- she loved her smartphone so much she was so glad they existed- and quickly searched out the name of a nice cafe.
Soon, she was wandering in. She looked around. It wasn't terribly busy. That made some sense- it was, after all, a Tuesday evening; not exactly the most hopping time for the nightlife of a town. There were a few couples sitting, eating the decently cheap food. There were only two people seated at the actual bar itself: an exhausted looking cop and a young woman sipping on a martini. Man. It was times like this that Min-Ji wished she could make her power work on herself. Human food always looked like it probably tasted so good, but she was always, without fail, disappointed. She couldn't even remember what human food was supposed to taste like! Boring, right?
She looked around. Where was the best place to pick up some interesting information... wait. Oh, that smelled like Fair Folk. Here? Huh. Probably... Seelie court? Probably the Summer Court, yeah. What was a Fair Folk doing, hanging out in the modern world? Min-Ji hadn't seen much of them recently. There was too much iron and machinery around, and many of the Fair Folk were incapable of surviving around it. After all, cold iron was poison to the Fae, and the world, these days, ran on cold iron.
Then again, the world's only temperate rainforest was nearby, and that did seem like the exact kind of place that Fair Folk would abound. Perhaps this particular Fae had wandered in from one of those boundary places that tended to be in forests. Either way, her presence was interesting. Fair Folk were dangerous beasts. They never lied, but by nature, they'd bend the truth. Add to that the fact that the Fair Folk tended to represent the very chaotic forces of nature, and, well, it was always best to stay on the good side of a Fae. They did, however, tend to tell interesting stories. They were old, eldritch beings, completely inhuman in every way. Min-Ji had met some truly terrifying Fair Folk over the years. They all would trade a story for a story, so long as Min-Ji was careful, so...
...she slid into the seat across from the Fae. "I haven't seen the Fair Folk in the human realm in quite a while, though perhaps that's because I haven't been near a forest as grand as this in awhile," she said cheerfully. "My name is Jo Min-Ji. Are you willing to make a deal with me? I'd love to perform a trade, story for story, if you'd allow it, Fair One!"
Now wait. Be careful. Fae were fickle, and she'd have to be careful not to offend. An offended Fae was a nightmare that no person wanted to be trapped in.
@kitty
listen Min-Ji is running off of traditional fairy lore, which posits that fairies are absolutely horrifying, capricious, chaotic neutral beings. she hasn't met that many nice fairies. please don't be offended, Darcy, and curse her or something, that's exactly what she's trying to avoid.
