Harper is a mermaid princess who ran away from home because her forced her into an engagement with a Prince who was less then princely. I thought it would be interesting to have that prince be the one who finds her and tries to take her back the sea.
Important personality traits, arrogant and little possessive. Whats his is his and Harper is His fiance whether she likes it or not. He isn't cruel or even as horrible as he seems, just sort of spoiled and thinks highly of himself. Hs personality is just opposite of Harper's. He sorta want to prove himself to Harper's father the king because marrying the kings daughter means he can rule two kingdoms.
After a lot of fighting and avoiding...maybe opposites could attract eventually, they find common or something drastic happens that makes them see each other differently. all in all I think it could lead to some interesting threads.
