Casper Pietro:
Book of my life
He's a spy for the Volturi, he doesn't want to be anymore, but he can't really get OUT of the coven either. Not without putting James in danger. This song is perfect for Casper because it just speaks of a world weary man and ....he kind of is.
Caius:
Let the bodies hit the floor
Everything about this song is Caius. Even the video. I can totally see him just...tormenting an old man by screaming horrible things into his ear. Actually....he's probably done that. A lot. This normally isn't my type of song and I don't even remember how I found it, but it just fits Caius like a GLOVE. That ... edge of insanity feel to it...
Orochimaru's theme
With the creepy chorus and the...well scary feel....I just think this song is his all over. When he gives that 'I'm going to hurt you and enjoy every moment of it' smile....it'd just kick in.
Genis Sage:
Strangers like me
He's just shifted and he has no idea WHAT he's doing. He'll imprint too, so the part about the girl will fit him too eventually. He knows the shifters are like him but he doesn't know why or how. He's pretty much lost in the shifter world, but that won't stop him from finding out about them. I also see him taking his imprint to see his little world of science or something. Like...taking her to an observatory and showing her billions of stars.
Jack Lantern:
On my way
Jack is quite possibly my most cheerful character, he's ALWAYS ready to just....do whatever. Even it's just lying on the grass feeling the world around him and listening to stuff. He may be blind, but that doesn't mean it'll EVER get him down. In fact, he likes the way he is.
Jasper Hale:
Sound the bugle
This one would have been playing while he was being tortured in Voltera. It's such a sad...aching song and yet, at the end there is that hopeful note. Jasper always held out hope that he'd make it through, even if his mind didn't believe it, his heart refused to give up.
Get off of my back
Truly anyone who tries to take Jasper on in a fair fight....well they're insane. They're gonna get their asses handed to them before they could even blink. Plus it's that whole....western theme goin' on and that's Jasper allllll over.
Lloyd Irving:
Sanosuke Sagara's theme
This would kick in whenever Lloyd is being particularly stupid. Like...Genis trying to teach him history and he turns after a lecture and there's Lloyd snoozing away or making origami swans or something.
Luke Denmark:
You can't take me
Another perfect song for Luke, people do judge him because he looks frightening but he's really sweet. He doesn't give up, he fights for what he believes in and if a vampire DOES want to take him, by golly he's going to fight. Even IF it's futile. (and it will be if Caius has anything say about it. Which he will.)
Raine Sage:
When she loved me
Raine remembers her mother, Genis doesn't, which is why it often harder for Raine than it is for Genis. Her mother loved them both at one point, and then just...left them. That affected Raine deeply and this song is just perfect for her.
Holding out for a hero
Raine's got her hero, she just doesn't know it yet. She doesn't REALLY need one, but ... well her hero is mostly a man to show her that falling in love doesn't have to turn out badly. THAT is the hero she needs. And this version kicks the most ass. Shrek 2 had a good cover, but the original just .... well it's my fave.
Soon you'll come home
Sadly, I can imagine Raine as an eleven year old girl....just singing this song to Genis or even by herself. It never came true, which makes it even worse. (I'm so mean to my charries.)
Ricky Adams:
One last wish
Ricky is dying. He knows he's dying, but he doesn't want to tell anyone since ....well he doesn't want to be treated that way. He's doing a bucket list all on his own and ...well this song really suits him. VERY well. It's sad and....kind of hopeful but all in all very pretty.
Firework
Like a glove. Ricky's theme is just....this song. He doesn't give up, he doesn't mope about his situation in life, he just....well....does the very best he can and lives each day to its fullest. He IS a firework. He impresses people with his piano playing and dreams to one day, play for the entire town, if not the whole world. Online of course.
Rufus Powers:
Depature
Normally, Rufus is very VERY hard to anger but it does happen and when it does....well he kind of gets into an in between state. A state between a blood crazed killer and his usual self. It's at this point he can be reasoned with and is usually able to bring himself back to normal. Usually. This song just fits with that ....in between state.
Isshin Tenpuku Keekaku
This one is for when he's truly snapped. When the 'dark Rufus' takes over. This Rufus cannot be reasoned with. He cannot be controlled by anyone. Not even himself, for ...'himself' has been taken over by the darkness. The darkness sees no friend or foe, only enemies. This is the very reason he fears losing his temper. Because he knows that once he does, it's not a matter of when he's stopped, it's a matter of how many people died. This song just implements departure and brings it to a WHOLE new level and that's....just Rufus.
Fragile
Rufus of all my characters, knows just how .....fragile everyone is, including himself. He can't help but be the way he is and he knows all too well about violence and anger. This is for the state he's usually in. He's kind of....well lost really. He needs someone to love him and above all, he needs to forgive himself for his past, which...he clearly hasn't yet.
Simba Xerses:
Desert Rose
I might've changed Simba's name from his original (just to laugh at him) but this song INSPIRED him to be created so this is truly his theme. With the Arabic in the background, (talking about finding his soulmate) and the magic that is Sting....well my muse just goes through roof when I play it for Simba's posts.
Xavier Miles:
Mambo No. 5
Beside the fact that this song is funny as hell, it fits a TOTAL flirt like Xavier. He likes...well everyone. He flirts with EVERYONE and I can see him just...flitting from one girl to another and keeping them ALL entertained. Hell, even if he were married he'd flirt (harmlessly of course) he was raised in a harem AND the fairy world so....you can't really blame him for being a shameless flirt.
He also swings both ways, but most certainly flirts with the ladies a LOT more than the guys.
The cup of life
This song just ROCKS and since it's sung by the delicious Ricky Martin and he bats for the OTHER team, well....it's good for Xavier too. He doesn't EVER let life get him down. He takes every single day and seizes it and just...throttles all of the fun he can from it. Every. Single. Day. I can totally picture him in Seattle just...throwing these GIANT supernatural parties and rocking the house and becoming THE guy to go to for one hell of a party.
Couple's songs!!
Jasper and Alice:
One night
If this song isn't meant for Jasper and Alice then I don't know what is. Alice is...well she was probably the FIRST person to tell Jasper his scars were beautiful and the first to see the man beneath the monster. These two are perfect for each other and this is their song.
Lost without you
And this one was when Jasper and Alice were apart when she tried to protect him and the family. Just 'cause I like it. And ....he was probably kind of aware of Rufus's feelings for Alice and just didn't want to admit. Because if he DID admit it he'd have ripped Rufus's head off ^0^
Luke and Chris
Kagome and Inuyasha
The music box feel....the pretty singer not really...singing any actual lyrics...but it's all so pretty and soothing. Luke and Chris's relationship is just starting out, so for now this is their theme song.
Casey and Rufus:
When you're gone
Okay this song will be PERFECT for these two because....well I don't know about Casey but Rufus won't figure out he loves her for a while and this little duet will fit them VERY well. Mostly because Rufus really would just...wander around wondering why the hell he's feeling like this whenever he's apart from Casey.
Book of my life
He's a spy for the Volturi, he doesn't want to be anymore, but he can't really get OUT of the coven either. Not without putting James in danger. This song is perfect for Casper because it just speaks of a world weary man and ....he kind of is.
